What should you have ready before you call?

This is the part nobody tells homeowners, and it is the difference between a five minute call that ends in a scheduled visit and a twenty minute call that ends in us guessing. None of it is required. Anything you have makes the visit better.

  • Where the tank is, if you know. A rough description is fine. If nobody knows, say so and we will bring locating gear. That is a real service, not a failure on your part. See septic system locating and troubleshooting.
  • When it was last pumped. Even a year is useful. If the answer is never or not since we bought it, that is also an answer and it tells us plenty.
  • What the symptom is, in plain words. Slow drains, gurgling, odor outside, a wet spot in the yard, backup at the lowest fixture. Do not translate it into a diagnosis for us.
  • Whether it is an emergency. Sewage inside the house or standing effluent in the yard is an emergency. A tank due for routine service is not, and telling us honestly which one you have gets both jobs scheduled correctly.
  • Access notes. Gates, locked fences, dogs, steep driveways, snow, and anything a truck has to get past.
  • Whether a sale is involved. A closing date changes the scope and the paperwork on a septic inspection.

When are you actually available?

Scheduled work happens on weekdays. Pump outs, inspections, repairs, installations, and grease trap service all get booked into the weekday calendar.

Weekend emergency service is on call. That means the phone is covered for genuine emergencies, and a routine pump out request left on a Sunday gets scheduled for the week ahead rather than the same day.

If you are not sure which one you have, call and describe what you are seeing. We would rather sort that out with you on the phone than have you sit on a backup because you did not want to bother anyone.

What is an emergency and what can wait?

Treat it as an emergency if sewage is coming back into the house, if effluent is standing on the surface of the yard, or if the tank is overflowing. Those are health issues and they get worse with time. Stop using water in the house and call 720-427-7557. There is more detail on the emergency septic service page.

It can usually wait for a weekday if drains are slow but still draining, if there is an odor with no wet ground, or if the tank is simply overdue. Those still need attention, they just do not need a Sunday night truck.

Where do you provide service?

Denver and the Colorado Front Range, working out of Westminster. That covers the metro cities and a wide band of county land around them.

The full list of cities and towns is on the service areas page. Unincorporated communities and named areas on county land, which are often the properties most likely to be on septic in the first place, have their own pages under communities.

If you do not see your address on either list, call anyway. The lists are the places we publish pages for, not a fence.

What happens after you send the form?

The quote form on this page goes straight to us. We read it, and we come back to you with either a quote or the two or three questions we need answered before a quote means anything.

For anything urgent, do not wait on a form reply. Call 720-427-7557. A phone call reaches a person faster than a form does, and on a weekend it is the only thing that will.

Do you cover my address?

We serve Denver and the Colorado Front Range from our Westminster base, including Aurora, Lakewood, Littleton, Arvada, Thornton, Broomfield, Boulder, Castle Rock, Parker, and the county land around them.
